Okay, but beating the bucket against the side of the trailer to clean it out is considered poor form. And the term "bang boards?" It's just a figure of speech, not an invitation. ;)

No self-respecting operator would do that, and the bang boards are not for banging but for allowing extra piled high material to not fall out of the box when the truck starts driving to keep the load from shifting and spilling out of the box, especially since we loaded salt that way for snow control...but also in case the operator isn't that skilled. :)
Easier to replace boards, than to replace metal, although I have loaded some I-beam bang boards before. :)

Years ago, there was someone who used to post on TTR that was bound and determined to heavy haul a multi axle with super singles. Said something about fuel economy. Your picture is a reminder why that’s NOT a good idea.

Of course, that was back in the day when the bean counters at TMC and Maverick convinced their CEO’s that super singles were the way.

Yes it’s a Ford, but not a ignition coil.

It’s actually used to electrify a fence to keep farm animals in one area.

When Jim brought his to the show, there was a metal ball in the tube that got kicked from one end to the other….

1 turns into 10 if you get the first one outside the hole— they eat their own
