If the glass is sealed on both ends it may be a "neon tube" light powered by the batteries that were charged by a windmill.
The same batteries powered the parlor radio on the farm in the 1920s and 1930s before rural electrification.

    LOL.
Until this September we were restricted to 90km/hr, (55).
I was doing 62 (100km/hr), but with 5.29 rear gears it gets a little too busy for me..
One contractor up here has 2 buses with ac.
Its a 16k option. It may be useful for 22 days a year?
12 more days and they sit for 59 days.

jamespmack, CAXPT, Feedman and 4 others Thank this.

Alberta was the last jurisdiction in north America to hold us to 90km/hr.
But they are all built to go 90 here.
5 of em only have 5 speed allisons, 6th is locked out.
    2 have 5.57s, 2100@100.
    5.29s are 1950 at 100.
Our gasser has 6.14s, but all 6 in the allison.
    2000 at 100.
Gasser will almost light up the 11r22.5s.
You can be 1st off every light if you can afford it.

It was dumb.. doing 90 on 16 or 2 and everything whipping by you 30km faster.

Canadian school years are from sept- end of june..
This year we go back 2 days before sept long weekend.
    181 days total.
From what I've always believed US schools get a longer summer break?

How long are the school days? Seem to recall my highschool days were 8 to 3.

Tradeschool was better, we only did until noon on Fridays.
