Early tempest, later increased from 3.8 to 4.0l Overhead cam aluminum head for the Pontiac sprint. 68-69.

But yes was a 230? In a early tempest.

You're not kidding. That looks pretty easy.

You might be right, I get his point. But the bikes I had were old Honda CBs. Center stand didn't have that leverage. You went up, but you had a rear rocking motion. His form looks great for that bike. Wish my Harley had a center stand.

I only ever seen one in a firebird.
Earlier tempest with the rope drive had that trophy 4. 3.2L 4cyl. The 389 cut in half. Only saw one of those too. Would make a sweet paint shaker.

That's all I have, well, and a CL, but doing it that way sure beats trying to hulk it up or doing it while straddling the seat. I cleared everything I had out when dad died, and somehow ended up acquiring another trailer full of CB750 project bikes. Honda put some parts back into production 15 or 20 years ago, and I have enough parts to make a new bike. Been tempted to sell the 4-4 exhaust a few times when I see what they bring on ebay.

What I posted was far from that. It was a based of a Chevy inline 6. But overhead cam, aluminum head. 66-77 tempest, 68/69 Lemans.

I'm not aware of it available in a firechicken at anytime. But if it was, I'd like to know.

I also am asking and could be wrong. I'm not trying to argue. Maybe I never knew it.
