If you order thru Exreme, ask for Duilio (dweelio, or dewey)
He's my neighbor, a super dude, and a former factory Honda motocross racer in the 80's..
He still rides a CR500, and I'm pretty sure his brass bits clank when he walks.
I wouldn't worry too much tho. That 450 will outlast you. You will be passing it on to the next learner when your done with it.

Oh boy. I don't have a slide table. But that's a hefty fine back then.

Had a for short of text family member with a kz900. Heard those ran well.

I recently, like this year caught a video about cb1000 inline 6. Never heard of it. Now i know it was a short built monster.

A freind of my parents when I was a kid had a kawasaki H2 750 2 stroke triple with kerker exhausts. You could here him coming or going for miles. What a wail.
He wrecked a kz1000r when a lady made a left turn in front of him. He suffered a head injury that left him extremely grouchy. He still lives alone to this day.
What a time to be riding. Tons of power, no brakes or suspension or tires to back it up. It's a wonder some of us survived.

That would have been the Honda CBX. 24 valves!
Was built 78 to 82/83 model year.

Was not Honda’s first six cylinder engine for motorcycles. Back in the mid sixties, Honda built a 250cc Grand Prix race bike, six cylinder engine.
Won several Isle of Man races. Mike Hailwood won the championship on one.

The Kawasaki “H” bikes were a handful. They did make some power. Friend had the 500 version (H1B). Your right, with chambers on them, you could hear them for miles.

Same program about super bikes wasn't there a 2 stoke 1100 or 1000. Short production and was a real death machine. Dang it, I watched a show, and don't remember.

Don’t know of any “production” 1000 cc or bigger 2 stroke bikes. Most stopped at 750. That doesn’t mean they don’t have a prototype somewhere.
