I’m not very smart when it comes to Mexican food, I gotta see pictures or I ain’t ordering any of it.
I was eating the last of the seafood when I noticed a piece of tinfoil flattened out about 7” long or so. Ask my wife what she thought it may be, she just looked at me and grinned while shaking her head. It’s to wrap that stuff up in like a burrito if you want to, I had no idea those things were even in there lol….

I used to use them like everyone else I knew and wrap stuff in and eat too. But when I lived in Mexico, I learned that people there used them like we would use a piece of bread (or your fingers) to help with the scooping onto the fork.
Sometimes, I will take the toast given to me, to pile on the eggs and grits and breakfast meat and make a sandwich. Heck, Harrison Ford did it in the Fugitive, and he was playing a doctor. So, I reckon I am not too uncivilized. -

Did a little tweaking on the carb screws and got the bike running pretty good today. A full bottle of injector/carb cleaner additive into some fresh 94 octane certainly didn't hurt either.

Well, tomorrow is my post-op follow up appointment with my surgeon to give me a good once-over and a fresh MRI so we can see what the titanium screws and hardware look like in my spine. They have an in-house MRI and radiology on staff to read the imaging scans so no waiting for a few days to get the results I also get to see pics of my surgeon installing the screws and other hardware too. Before surgery he asked me if I wanted pictures and of course I said yes. That kind of stuff is cool to me.
So far, two weeks plus 1 day after surgery I have not felt the agonizing pain in my legs from before which is absolutely amazing. The only thing I am really feeling that is different is my legs are a little achy most of the day. My best guess is that my gait is different now after walking a certain way for over 15 years and my body and legs have to get used to walking this way now. Fine by me. As long as I don't feel like I did before.
I miss being in the truck and seeing the road and all of the other trucks out there and what they are hauling. I'm like a kid in the back seat of my Dad's truck when going down the road because I still love trucks and what they haul to this day. I'll be back in no time though. I've got my buddy with me every day at home while my wife is at work and we are getting to spend some precious father/son time together which I wouldn't give up for the world.
Y'all be safe and keep the rubber side down and that left door closed!beastr123, exhausted379, dwells40 and 14 others Thank this. -
