That is a great story.

 

I think everyone has heard the ol ‘snake in the grass ‘ story where someone sees a poisonous snake suffering in the cold and feel sorry for it and put it in their coat to warm the snake using body heat. When the person gets bit and can’t understand why, “You knew I was a Snake when you picked me up!”

Mrs Howell and Maryanne were best friends. Maryanne was at one time good friends with both Gilligan and Skipper, who both got friends zoned by Maryanne, but Gilligan told her some dirt on his roommate Skipper. Word got back to Skipper and he whipped old Gilligan’s arse.

Professor liked Ginger, but Ginger secretly had the hots for Skipper. Word got back to Professor and Professor doesn’t do second place trophies and lost all interest in Ginger. Suddenly, Ginger expressed interest in Professor.

Ginger, Maryanne and Professor have been hanging out with the Howells. Mr Howell is stupid rich, but extremely generous. Mrs Howell, a gold digger, loves her lifestyle, but hates the way that Mr Howell throws around money. Finally, Mr Howell has had enough and tells his wife that since she hasn’t been happy in 10 years that he’s going to divorce her. Mrs Howell is devastated.

Maryanne calls Mrs Howell and asks how she is doing and where she’s staying. She then tells Mrs Howell that she, Ginger and Professor are all hanging at the Howell beach house. Mrs Howell is wondering why are her friends hanging out with her estranged husband. And she’s hearing rumor that Mr Howell is setting his eyes on Ginger.

Does anyone see the Snake?

 

Yea, but most of us will continue to pick up the snake. The apple can not be uneatten.

 

My first thought is ginger . but i may be biased from my love of the movie 'casino' . ginger was an absolute snake in that movie and it sets the tone for me to immediately distrust anybody named ginger lol. But on 2nd thought they all are snakes and taking advantage of mr howell simply for his money and mrs howell should stop calling them her friends.

I never really watched Gilligan's Island so I don't know the characters very well.

Without context I'd have to say Maryanne. The way I read it, she called up Mrs Howell with the intent to rub her nose in the fact she's shacked up with Mr Howell. Considering it was mentioned earlier that they were best friends it comes across as a huge betrayal.

 

Winner. They were all betrayed. Gillian and Skipper even broke the Bro-Code. Thing is, there was a snake in the midst.

When I identified the snake to “Mrs Howell”, she wanted to retaliate. “Should I block her on social media, Six?”

 

Wrecker service I used to work for. Alot of people thought we just towed trucks and cars down the road. Such a simple job. Nice to see the new owners and employees keeping up the 4 generation of family that built the company. Also, always heard good heavy equipment guys brag they never get stuck. I haven't worked there in 12 years now. Still miss driving them red and white trucks somedays.
