Just got back from a ride with my son. He's riding a 1984 Honda VF750f he brought back from the dead. I was on my st1300. A pair of V4s cruising around.

I've seen your bike in the flesh, it's darn near perfect as it is. As cool as old bikes are, they sure can make a mechanic out of ya, sometimes a little too much..

Mostly just want to polish up the dull aluminum, rebuild the carbs and get the kick and center stands powder coated. I think I'm going to hold off on re-gearing the bike for now. I'll do it when its due for a chain.

I like about any of the older bikes. It’s cool to see an older bike on the road.

1 I haven’t seen in many many years is a Water Buffalo, they were kinda unique but had to carry extra plugs lol….

Believe it or not, there was a minty water buffalo for sale 1 mile from me last year. Had 17000km on it.
    Suzuki Gt750 2 stroker.
About 5 years ago I was at the track, and this dude was waxing modern sportbikes with a Yamaha RD500. He had cam straps keeping his forks compressed, and a nitrous bottle under the seat.

Bikes will do that to you. Many a ride got taken down to frames and parts. Putting it back together is a good learning process. You really get to know your bike.

Back in the day, cafe bikes were built. Started with a project bike.

Now that’s one I haven’t seen in years. They were something of a handful.

Nitrous on a two stroke. Wow, that’s interesting.
