That'd be neat. Worst case if you don't end up liking it then change it again.

I was debating turning mine into a bobber but its just too clean and original for a guy to consider chopping. I'd like to find a running one with rough cosmetics and do a complete ground up build.

Met a fellow at the meeting yesterday. He owns a powersports dealer nearby. Guy is 95 years old and he rode a bike to the meet. That is beyond impressive! The folks there all joked that I brought the average age of the section down about 20 years!

Had a chance to install the carb I rebuilt. She cheech'd off on the 2nd revolution. I like the old iron, so much simpler.

Away too many of the 2 stroke road bikes from the 50's, 60's and 70's have had shortage of parts since the 90's. I gave up trying to buy pistons and rings for my 57 Royal Enfield in 69 or 70.
This is what I have left of that memory enfieldvilliers points cover 1.jpg

Take what you think the bike is worth to you in cash, drive over with the trailer and put the deal on the table and stick with it. Only out a little time if nothing comes from it. Maybe you get a project, maybe not.

Just make sure you get all the paperwork for it. Nothing worse than having to file lost title and all that.
