The stupid thing about Alberta is you have to show proof of basic liability insurance in order to register a vehicle, even if its not in running condition. I don't want to have to hold onto a bill of sale for a year or 2 while I do a build or resto. So I'd have to more or less waste a hundred bucks on a short term insurance policy for no reason just to get the registration in my name.

Use that in your calculations for the purchase offer.

The 70,80 bike have gained some popularity. But I recall when you valued them at a dollar per CC. They never had any value till later years. I still have dad's 78 CB750k in the shop. Maybe its about time to get it out and running again. Always loved that bike. Such a smooth ride and decent performance. I think it was last rode 2013,14.

Yeah for a non-running 450 Honda I'm not willing to go much beyond $500 unless the cosmetics are good.

Freind had a CB750, nice bike. The CB the KZ were 2 of the main choices for a chopper build at one time…..

Nice rookie sticks! I’d like to put them on my truck, but when I mentioned it, my 2 brothers pitched a fit! They think they look too 80s, I think they’re cool and retro!

    Well, guess I am 80’s lol since I bought my 73 K100 in the 80’s…. :)

I go some tight places and squeezing that extra 1” helps. Plus mine double as flag poles, kinda nice to wrap the flags when not in use on a OS/OW. Pulling multiple trailers I try to keep much as I can on the truck itself, but that box on the black lowboy is really nice….
