Good lookin Border Collie right there.

Mine chewed my boot strap off one night, so next morning her and I paid a visit to the local boot ‘n saddle shop. Then this happened:



“Honest to goodness, that ain’t me. I’m right here. I am right here ain’t I? Kinda freaked out a little bit right now... can we go?”

 

And yet, I watch that clock and still don't feel the need to put the hammer to the floor in the truck stop parking lot. Might be the drivers they are hiring these days more than the clock itself causing the problem.

I've almost been hit a couple times midday, wearing a bright yellow hi-vis t-shirt with stripes front and back... it's insane.

 

I can remember when aluminum fronts and chrome steel or painted to match the truck on the rear was the in thing.


It ain't fit for man or beast out here tonite. A lil northeast of St Louis loadin calves for west plains

 

What do ya'll think a used 5th wheel and slide is worth?

 

Junk yard down the road sells the for $250 to $300. Far cry from the $4500 I paid for my new one with 86 in slide !! That is a good Holland fithwheel. It is what they call the yoke style.

 

I kinda figured it'd only be worth 400 Canuck Bucks so I guess I wasn't far off.

Yea it just quit yesterday, dang electronics

 

Had a late afternoon nap it seems...

... awake again to drink more beer. Finally sent out my final application today... so that makes seven. Heard back from four already... so hopefully Monday I'l get something from the remaining three.

Looking like I may go join the Daseke family...
