Most here till in the rye, I believe good amount of nitrogen and just plant matter to add to the heavy clay.wheat goes either way some harvest and sell the straw. Few dairy farms will chop the rye early just like hay and feed it then till in what's left and can still plant short day corn

If you have more than 1 gas powered yard machine and a motor cycle then owning an ultrasonic cleaner and fresh gasket sets for each will pay for itself in 1 to 2 years.
Seasonal engine use with todays gasoline will cause carb sludge on a regular basis.

 

Using Non Ethanol Gas will probably help a Lot..

 

Ultrasonic cleaners are never a bad thing on small precision fuel system parts.

 

That can be hard to find up here. Almost everything is 10% unless you step up to 91 or 94 octane.

 

And even then it's been hauled in tankers hauling ethanol blend. Pretty sure corn alcohol can be found in all grades and flavors these days regardless of what is advertised.
