Wife named her frostbitten calf Eva, short for Evander Holyfield... Poor thing lost both ears and most of its tail when it was born.

 

My buddy’s 55 F1 at the car show this evening…..

 

My grandpa had one of those, want to say it was a '56. All original condition, original Flathead V8 and 3 on the tree. He used to drive it around town on errands all the time. Sad to say it left the family probably close to 20 years ago. Just hoping it didn't end up a rat rod because all it really needed was some very minor body work and new paint.

 

Just finished the last ride of the season. New personal record of 400 km in a single ride. Guess its time to go through it and get it ready for next year.

 

Just hate those traffic jams.

 

If it was a 56 it was a 1 year only cab. Only year of that body style that the cab protrudes out over the windshield, years prior the windshield and cab were same angle or slope. 56 also had a different dash cluster than the prior model years, and grill had louvers that stuck out over the headlights.

Dads 56 he was replacing the engine in, you can see how the cab stick out over the windshield….

Been a long time. I think it had the 1956 gauges.
