Every time you say that “T” word, some effeminate dude gets triggered (the ancient word is BUTTHURT). What T word? Tough.

Remember the first time you worked with your hands? I needed work and this roofing crew needed laborers. Just about anything that you do with your hands, from driving nails to turning wrenches to swinging a mop all day…

…is going to blister and hurt that day. The next day, you have callouses. You are now TOUGHER than the person you were the day before. Congratulations on leveling up.

 

Yep, I guess the Covid politeness is over. Screw trucker time again.

 

Did you have to schedule with the tides? Or they just going to run you on at low and rip your fuel tanks off?

 

Down at the pit helping, owners wife comes in then leaves.....whips a gravel spittin uey and tears back...
"WHERE DID THAT WRECKED TRUCK COME FROM!!!!"
Five guys go dead silent
Owner points at me and says "It's his..."
I shrug my shoulders "I don't know anything about it"
I was a bit concerned my attempt at levity may have resulted in the owners untimely demise, I've seen some wicked looks on a woman's face but the one she gave him was in the top two for sure.

 

Well, 5 hours later I'm on. Seems like good timing though with a sliver of sunset. My receiver is gonna unload me when I get there, so i oughtta be able to hit the last ferry back. Tight fit on here.
BTW, beer and food available up top.

And another successful day. Only 3 other vehicles on this ride. Still got 130 miles to run for my mornin pickup after I get on dry land. Night y'all

 

And with this, my moving is complete. Now to sort out the mess. Shop is full,garage is full, enclosed trailer is full. And it's time to get back Trucking next few days.



I've had her 28 years. It's a family member at this point.

 

And back under the flatbed, at least for a couple days…..
