I always wanted one. Had K5 Blazers instead. Those old K5s would rust no matter what you did.

I had so called prime rib, at the J in rapid city. I'd swear it was boiled ribeye and seared on the griddle? Not aged at all. Dissapointment.

Well, just found a short article saying that MHP is investigating a fatality where I saw this afternoon. It said around 530am a driver ran off in the median, laid over and was killed when his load crashed into the cab. If I find the truck at a salvage lot I will take a picture.

 

I know it's not so much "trucking" related.... but a few pics from my early years driving / operating for R&L.

 

Haven't got a call back. If I bring it home I'll post pictures before we tear it apart. I could triple my money pretty easy but we can use the parts.

Ever notice the most memorable trucker movies / shows used KW's .
Movin On, Smokey & the Bandit, BJ & the Bear.
They chose KW for the show BJ & the bear for a specific reason too.....
Sad thing is though, ya have one thing and have a desire for something different lol.

 

One of those White / Volvos in the salvage yard I go to. Always thought they were a decent looking Rig.
