It appears as though the Jimmy pops the 12v switched circuit only when the ECM is plugged in? All other powers and grounds are as they should be. And the switched 12v is there till it’s plugged back into the ECM. IMG_6586.jpeg

so we are going to switch it out next week at Midwest ecm repair while in Colorado next week.

Have you connected it to a load other than the ECM like a headlight or something similar to make sure the circuit is capable of carrying a load just to double-check?

Nope but I like your thinking. It is on the same circuit as the manual fan switch and something else I can’t remember right now. But I will definitely check. It was clearly the original fuse I pulled out. Thought I was going to get lucky for a second when I seen the blown fuse….

I bought it knowing the bad ecm diagnosis… but no one ever pulled the plugs or checked the fuse apparently? Neither had been checked. Peterbilt just hooked up a laptop and didn’t have any communication so handed him a $1600 bill and told him $6500 to repair it.

    Any certain part of Ohio…?

Probably exit 40 on I-64, run 35 back to Point Pleasant and cross over into Ohio, I’m thinking that bridge crossing the Ohio is over 15’.

Not sure what the 17th street bridge height is, but it will put you in Ohio on route 52.

But if you’re in Eleanor which is about 22 miles from me, you will be on route 62. If they permit you that way, 62 would take… nope nope nope!!! 62 into route 2 puts you on the the 13’-6” underpass outside of point pleasant….

Red dot is the 13’-6” underpass…

The bridge from route 62 to route 35 in Winfield is only 13’-9” if memory is correct, I know it’s less than 14’.
