    Yep. Tried to post a pic but it said the file was too big. Pin hole in a liner. Crome was already peeling off the rod bearings. Main bearings were pitted pretty good. Crank looks perfect, fortunately. Everything else in the block is very clean. 966,000 miles on that overhaul. Maybe 10,000 mile oil changes help.

    Why did we (as kids) always seem to have a cigar box at the ready? Dad didn't even smoke cigars, he smoked a pipe, yet I always seemed to have a cigar box to store something in. Guess it came from the same place jacks did. I don't ever remember getting jacks as a present, but I was always stepping on one in my room.

    Did you have a lot of cavitation on all the liners?

    I used to due the PH strip test on coolant during a service back when we used to run green. Since we went to all ELC I haven't worried about it at all.
