11 years ago today the last pic. We had canoed in to some islands on the Arkansas River. My 14' canoe was a bit overloaded on the 2 mile paddle out.
The squirrel... He was 7, and convinced his mom to let him take his air rifle into some woods around our lower pasture. I was working of course. She then calls wondering how to clean a squirrel. Hahaha
This kid is now 23, married, house. Crazy how kids grow up![]()

Over 300 miles of this in the last two days at around 95k for half of it. Used the 5.29 ratio of the two speed rears as soon as we left the pavement. Hard on an old truck and older man.

Oh well, unexpected rainy day, so looks like I'll form and level later today when it breaks, and try the pour for tomorrow and/or Monday, since it's supposed to be good weather day Monday as well now. Keeping eye on the weather so I don't end up with concrete soup.

TX2Day, jamespmack, singlescrewshaker and 5 others Thank this. -

You ever watch them you tubers that dry pour? I’ve watched several that came back later and did distrutive testing and found it as good ( or close enough) to a wet bag pour to make me think I’d just dry pour if I was using bags.
I did 16 yards in the spring outa the truck. It was the apron and landing pad for dropped trailers so I did it serious like but a side walk? I think I might just dry pour?Last edited: Nov 4, 2023
