Where is everyone #5

Today marks the fifth straight thanks giving out on the road, bunk in the truck dirt lot outside Portland, pickup early tomorrow. Frozen turkey dinner. Lol How’s that for a dedicated trucker? In fact, I haven’t taken a single holiday of any kind off for over four years. Including birthdays. So needless to say? Let them try and run me this Christmas. Ain’t happening.

 

I hope everyone that wanted it got at least a couple days at home this last week?
I took the whole week at home but only got about 1/2 what I wanted accomplished.

Finally kicked my brother out of the “office” at the shop. Converted into storage to free up more room in the shop. Then I finally got the rest painted and the rest of the walls and base boards up. Still need to finish trimming out the electrical outlets and windows. Fixed a couple lights on the truck, changed a couple tires on the trailer and Rollin out early in the morning…

Wow! Almost a full three days in here and nobody posted till @Tug Toy. Hope everyone is doing great. I've been off pretty much the whole month besides a short outing last week.

Freezer is once again bountiful, and I've driven and hiked all these backroads and woods around here enough.

Time to hit the road again, and I'm excited to get back a little west of center. Hope everybody has a great Monday

Starts pretty quick for an N14. Seems like everybody gets the long crank issues but never puts in the effort to fix em. Sounds good. Does it happen to have tilt wheel?

 

That’s literally the first time it has started in my possession. I bought it as a non runner after seeing it for sale on the side of the road for at least 9 months. Sounds like it hasn’t run in at least a year. Now got it put away till I can get back to work on it.

 

I would say that's pretty good for settin so long. I know nobody will agree, but I love the old WIA's. I like that small sleeper too. Do you know the wheel base? Shorter than 210 i would think

 

Don’t know the wheelbase yet. My guess it’s right around there?
No tilt wheel.
The small bunk is cool but, not for what I do now.. would be great for hopper or dumping rocks or something,

Was able to get the 430hp 1500tq tune in the new ecm.

 

I know a guy that dumps rocks if you change direction on your plans!

 

Did not meant to be rude. But was busy as heck. Kind of a working holiday. Happy belated Thanksgiving to all you gear jammers. We sold some smoked turkeys, and did a breakfast smoke for Saturday. Hope everyone got fat and happy. Back to regular scheduled Trucking this week. Didn't have time for many pictures. Hope you and all your families had a great time.
