Cats are disposable pets were I come from. Dogs get buried, cats got a getto burial, in a dumpster.

I was headed that route before I bought this. 80x100 with 2 bedrooms and a large open kitchen living room. Like a apartment inside a shop. But not all banks are interested in financing them. While they are starting to, I found credit unions more accepting.

20240123_080000.jpg Jobsite delivery this morning to a housing development south of Franklin Tn. The landscaping guy told me that we are on the cheap side of it where the houses in the picture start at a million. The other side they are 3-5 million.

I don't mind cats crawling in or around anything we park outside if for no other reason than their presence tends to keep the mice out.

But I tend to smack a hood or engine cover before getting in and maybe just tap the ignition real quick to give them a fair warning before fully turning it over to start it up.

Had one hop out of the tractor engine this morning when I started it. Guess it was laying on top because of the block heater…

The 76 C20 uncle Lester bought new didn’t have a clutch fan. Soon as he bumped the key it was an unusual sound, he stopped the engine but it was too late. Big yellow long haired Tom had crawled up in the bottom of the radiator shroud….

I agree on both counts. I'll slap the hood, or bang around opening and closing doors, just to make sure anything hiding can get out. My late FIL would leave the hoods up on stuff that was parked in the shop or under a lean-to. This also helps keep the rodents away.
