HMMM.... just a thought:
lose the front diff, new driveshaft, build a rudimentary rollback tilt-deck adding 1ft more deck than the length of your present hobby ride (an old farm truck hoist is a good start)
Where is everyone #5

Kinda thought about something like that but want to be able to put it back to commercial service in a weekend if need be? That’s probably a bit more than I can get done before the end of March for the first trip too.Last edited: Feb 24, 2024

Less weight and less rolling resistance...Better Fuel Mileage...

But since we have added sides, we have to rotate what meats we have. Not enough room. Basically your right, and you can't make everyone happy every time. With that, it then would require more help. Which is not easy to find. -
Went seen my buddy Tony this evening. He’s been playing with wood again…..

Build you a bed that latches into fifth wheel. Put a bolster in front like a NRC detach wrecker. When not in use, drive out from underneath. Hook up a trailer. -
Been known to use my kidneys once in awhile. Cause dad said I never had brains.
But with no hydraulics just fab up 4 corner jacks like NRC front support legs. Or maybe that's to heavy and 4 screw jacks like a pickup slide in camper. Depends on weight of unit. Build the bumper pull hitch in skid, that way the weight stays on skid, if you needed to go Trucking. -
That's my route to the wrecker yard. Need to head up there soon and get another load of parts.
We need to set you up with a regular parking here when you come through. RV's in the pull-outs and every room booked with drooling fish killers right now. I hear they're pulling some hogs out of the river. -
Those are awesome!
