I'm this way , just say what's on my mind . Not always popular, but everyone knows how I feel about it. My wife says at times I'm a outside dog.

: behaving or presented in a way that feels true, honest, or familiar and without pretension or affectation.

I looked up the definition/meaning of “Being Real.”
Most people are only real when they are inebriated.

It took me a few years to notice, but I figured out a pattern. When I was young, I would walk into a new environment trying to be friendly, respectful and likable. The veterans would sometimes haze the new kid. Being good natured, you laugh it off. Some dude reads you, goes all in on the chips, bets that he got your number and you won’t fire back. Instant retaliation. Be sure to smile.

I have warned rookies in the past about Supertruckers. The Supertrucker is that guy that comes up to you on the job volunteering employment history or name dropping. Information is never free. He’s going to talk down to you, attempt to intimidate you, basically bully you. I tell all the young people to hide their cards. Basically, when someone starts volunteering info you should completely UFTS. I wish someone had told me how it works. Probably wouldn’t have listened the first time, but I would have picked it up faster.

If one is so morally bankrupt as to engage in bullying and one of said bully’s tormentees decides to make him pay for his actions with his life, it will be with zero sympathy from me.

I hate bullies and they deserve whatever comes to them.

Growing up the youngest of five boys was good life prep.
Wake up hitting the floor because Ed thought it was hilarious to flip the mattress on his way out in the morning.
Sledding was fun at the cabin- "looks steep" 4-1 vote throw me on and kick me over the side "whoah! WAY too steep! Think he's alive?"
My GI Joe was missing an arm and a leg because he always had to be the wounded one.
Parents- "ENOUGH! No.....fighting.....in....the....house!!! Take it out in the yard."
Blood, bruises, broken arm, Brian almost took one of my eyes out with a stick, can't hardly see out of it now.
Learned how to fight dirty because being the victim really wasn't working out well.
Outside the home bullies? [edit: that doesn't sound right- not aimed at previous posts. 'Says to bullies...'] That's all you got? Really?

Couple years ago my nephew was getting picked on and got knocked down at school, he was 8. I asked my daughter's what they did, they are a few years older and saw it happening. They said they ran to get the teacher. Well at least they did something. I told them you ever see something like that again you better be in there stopping it. They said we don't want to get in trouble, I told them as long as you don't start it, I don't care what trouble you get in we will take care of it afterwards. But you better not be the one's starting it because then we will have problems.

Since this topic is fairly hot, I've got a little story to tell. My youngest granddaughter is a senior this year, and when she was in the 7th grade this male child kept picking on her. She kept telling him to leave her alone, but he wouldn't. She went to her teacher and told her all to no avail. Finally, one day this kid started his crap again, and she rared back, doubled her fist up, and landed a good solid punch right into his snot locker. His nose started bleeding, she got into trouble, and then that got my daughter and son in law involved. To this day that kid has never jacked with her since. End of story.
