Here's what I came up with. The "T" straps are 18" wide x 15" tall using 3" wide flat iron. The end straps are 2" wide x 15" tall. And 5/8" square head lag bolts to attach them. This picture is to scale.
It's the same material, hand hammered finish and bolt size as the beam light. That was a 7" x 7" beam.

I'm not finished yet but I was tired of working out in the rain...I need to put beauty rings over the rubbers and I'm changing the work lights to super bright LEDs.
The back of the cab needs a good scrubbing.
Pulled off the headache rack
Added the between the frame box
Added the chicken lights
Pulled off the stupid rubber fairings

Looks good. I get the impression your as anal about detail as I am....drives my wife crazy....
My house was built in 1913 and when we decided to gut it and completely reconfigure it I had to draw everything....she can't visualize anything. Here's an action shot, I also added double sided square led in the corners so it shines a red glow down onto my fuel tanks.
