Where is everyone #5

The bar I mentioned, is a camera free zone. But the appliance store had one. But the owner quit posting them. I don't know why.

 

Was good to shake hands with @Razororange yesterday evening, we shoved some groceries down our neck at Oscar’s breakfast burgers and brews restaurant, then stopped in and visited a friend who owns the 1982 W900A with Colorado roots.

Seems he changed his mind again about the truck…. ( god must have made him with leftover girl parts )…. So now it’s disassembled again….

 

@Razororange you got out of here just in time my friend…..

 

Looks like the 31st street bridge in Huntington is closed. Hope he didn’t have much on….20 ton limit on that bridge because of faulty cables or something….

 

I have to ask, not to start any controversy, but why did you feel compelled to ask?

 

Was good to put a face to the name. That place had a pretty good burger and fries. I'll have to stop back in there some time.

Things got a little crazy across 64 in Kentucky this morning. All the barrels in the workzone west of Grayson were blown all over the highway making traffic dodge around them in blinding rain. Then the wind took down a power line at exit 160. Blocked the entire highway and the eastbound exit and westbound entrance. Had to get off and run US60 for a bit and there was down lines and trees all through there too.

 

Back to the flatbed in this trip….

 

It's quiet in the shop today. Chasing oil leaks on this pile of crap:


If you ever have the chance to buy one, skip it. Buy something else. Anything else.

Anyway I walked over to the fridge to get a frosty beverage and as I'm walking back over I pass the air compressor just as it kicks on. Thought I was going to be mopping up a puddle with broken glass for a minute there.

I wonder if it ever comes on at night and scares the crap out of the mice in here.

 

Setting in my shop watching the Grit channel last night, air compressor kicks on and automatically I’m thinking…. where in the hell is the air going…?!!

 

I gave up on chasing leaks. I've got three storage tanks, several hundred feet of piping and three hose reels with 100 ft of hose on them. It comes on like that once a week if I'm around so I imagine it's actually coming on three or four times a week.
