I am so very tired of this flipping rain. No pasture here, just a bog.

 

What did you do? Some sort of Mario kart maneuver?

 

Nope..that outfit knew they had to stop traffic and unfold halfway. They have to move through there. They done it before

Somebody finally came up with enough money to get me back to work. Loaded today and will leave for SLC Saturday mornin.

Have really enjoyed the couple weeks off. Got into the mountains most every day after I got my work done.

Get back home in a couple weeks and do this again. Found a mulberry tree that was loaded with fruit, but wasn't quite ready to drop yet. It'll have every wild hog in a couple miles under it when it does. So maybe a little more fresh pork.

These wild hogs you mentioned, are they truly wild/feral hogs, the formerly domesticated ones or are they Boar?

 

Steps for drying mulberries in a dehydrator:

1. Gently pull the green stem from the mulberry
2. Wash in cold water with lemon juice to preserve color
3. Place in a dehydrator at 135°F for 14–24 hours
4. Mulberries are ready when they are crunchy and break easily

And so good in camp.

 

I'll give that a try when I dehydrate the next batch of strawberries and blueberries. Thanks
