@AModelCat I went almost all cordless. Working at the quarry would be a nightmare without them.
I built my new shop, sold my old shop with the big compressor and just put a little one in this one for airing up tires and such.
Last week I scored a killer deal on a big blast cabinet.....well, gotta get a bigger compressor now.

I'd like to see them offer a cordless die grinder that can compare to an air operated one in terms of a compacted size though. A decent battery life would be great too.

I definitely will not be tossing my 1/2" air impact. There are a few jobs I do often that its smaller size saves me half a day of work. The cordless is just too big to squeeze in to where I need to get it.

I'm in on the cordless die grinder- skinny wheels!

I just used my air impact today on the project truck putting in crossmember bolts, cordless wouldn't fit.

I've got someone trying to get me to buy a C15 550 complete out of a wrecked truck.
Hmmm, that would be really cool in the '67 W9....
No, no, no, you're not done with the current project...
    No, no, no......

I want to get an electric ratchet next. Its not often I have a need for my air ratchet but when I do its a lifesaver. I used it on about 50 bolts Friday. Too awkward a spot to get anything in other than a ratchet.

Guy I was working with got a top line Milwaukee 1/2. First day he had it we were on top of the plant, he drops it, bang bang bang it goes all the way to the bottom. We could see the little light on it waaaaay down there. Oh, I hope it's on the discharge belt and not the jaw feed belt bud, cuz there's no way to get down there.

LOL... legend in my own mind, maybe. :)
We got home just fine, and the food was good and HOT when we got home. BIL's coolers kept them hot so much I still burned my fingers lifting the aluminum pan out of the cooler you stuffed it in. :)
It was a pleasure to see you and the BNE family again, and the food as usual, the best.
Neighbor I bought that extra slab for said the ribs were 'off the hook', and him and his house mates are looking forward to making orders for me to come pickup on the 22nd. Trying to figure out how to get to the party with the limited parking there but we'll figure something out.... I have to have more of that Brisket. :)
