Yes,used to race there,too. 75-80 relatively short shutdown area would thrill you,when you're used to long Cecil and Budds Creek. Started bracket racing in Capitol in the early 70's. My 73 SS El Camino I bought new from Jerry's Chevrolet in Baltimore,cost $3800. back then. Pic is from 1973 after a night at Capitol. Racing would run really late in those old days,no curfew. Would drive home from Capitol (Crofton) to Northern Baltimore County 3am. with the headers open.
