Where is everyone #5

I have a AMC 360 V8 in the shop on a stand. It’s for a future CJ7 build… For me.

@blairandgretchen has met my wife here at the house, she is kinda on the short side compared to Blair and I lol, the 5 will fit here fine, I really need a 7 for the extra leg room….

 

A freind in high school had a balanced and blue printed 305 built by the guy that built Tom Sneva's race engines in Spokane. It was in a CJ5. It had a high performance clutch, and with two guys in the back hanging on to the roll bar he could pop wheelies. Unfortunately it had more power than he had the ability to control. He rolled it coming out of a parking lot.

 

My thoughts would be on some sort of Nigerian scam where as soon as you move the money, the feds move in on you.

Most of the small parts for this Jeep were in a big heavy cardboard box on a pallet setting way back in an old van trailer. It’s been a jigsaw puzzle since I’m not the one who took it apart lol….

 

If I remember my math correctly. 330 x my annual salary would be a bigger negative #.

I don't know. My dad was so good at explaining how things work, and teaching. I'm completely opposite. That's one of the biggest reasons I closed up.

I'd rather you get out of my way so I can do it, than take the time to show you how. I just have no patience.

And kids? Good lord.

My son works his ##* off, always has. But he was walking across the shop one day like he had nowhere to be.

He saw me lookin at him all pissed off.

"What's wrong Dad?"

He still talks about my reply,

"Watchin you walk is pissin me off"

He understood

 

Ouch!

 

This guy doesn’t want to get off the forklift and raise the ramp up with the Jack. So he waits on another machine to push it forward while he holds the front up with his forklift….
