None of us up here have put eyes on it yet and I don’t really want to sound like the village idiot but are the controls similar to an RGN? We were wondering if you just dump your air when you hook and unhook or is the neck controlled

there is a couple of different safety systems, and 95% of the scissor necks are hydraulic operated with the powerpack in the back. There were some built in the 60's to 80's that were tractor winch operated. Some had more than one neck position. They are still used a lot in the oilfields as a single drop/sloped flat.

Chris's had jacks that picked it up, pull truck out, then pull the pins and fold it down. His had a funky home built pony hydraulic that never, ever worked a whole day.
He used it in the woods, mostly contract fire work. That old thing took a lot of abuse. I don't know how happy he's going to be with the Witzco ground bearing he got. -
They told us that they put a Harbor Freight pony on it a couple years ago (which will be one of the first, if not the first thing to be replaced) and nobody will drive/haul anything cause it’s not the new and improved version—couple of go rounds with it and we’ll have that sucker singing a tune— Big Daddy gave us 20k to put in it and I’m gonna make sure we spend every nickel of it

I have never used one myself. My only experience is watching a buddy who works for a local paving company load his one day. He had a pony motor like a normal RGN. Fire it up and drop the legs under it. Unhook from truck. Then hit the lever the other way to lower the trailer to the ground and unfold the neck. I only recall 1 lever but I only saw him use it once and that was last summer.

Big rig chrome shop!
That trailer would be nice moving the track jaw right now, she's stuck on rabbit an it's a mechanical bull ride getting it on the lowboy. -
@tramm01 if you're coming to give me a run for my money with the new W9 there do I need to up the numbers in the T8? Drop the "marine 9,000hp" file in? Swap in the big KT that's in the genset?
