Almost always the guy with the screaming refrigerator unit. The one with loose or missing panels that add that just special tone to it.
If I had been really thinking about this, I should have taken a photo of the situation.
Sitting in the north west corner of the north 40 of a 300+ parking space truck stop, 2.3 miles from my delivery point. Has to be a least 100 empty spaces around the truck. Not kidding, the closest truck was at least 40 spots away, and over 2 rows. Done working for the day, about time to get a shower and some food. Head in to the store, get shower (nice one too.) pick up some beverages and a few odd snack items, head back out to truck. When I get close, I see not one, not two, but three, thats right, Three trucks swarmed around mine. All refrigerator trucks, all running. Easily 25 or more empty spots in any direction between my truck and any others. Except these dooofuss. Two were from the same company, the other was a different one, but I think they all knew each other. Needless to say, I moved to another spot that was much more quiet. Have to admit, they suffered major catastrophic injuries and deaths in my mind’s eye.

I got to where I just have them rebuilt anymore. Starters also. I use a place in SLC called Generator Exchange. I don't think I'm saving any money up front but it sure is nice not doing the same job twice or three timesexhausted379, TX2Day, ElmerFudpucker and 14 others Thank this.

I've got one or two 34SI in the barn. I was contemplating the same thing. As much as I'm out here, I'll see about dropping one off.

Yeah, even before I closed the shop, their alternators were having issues for customers. Never an issue with starters, and it seems like the failures started when they started selling brand new ones instead of remans.
