What the heck is that thing behind your truck?

 

My cousins son, 4300 lb 4 door Pontiac G8 Saturday in NC on a 1/4 mile track….

 

Some type of new fangled highboy with sides? 1st time I've ever seen one meself.. lol

Spot market has been an abomination.
Taking a break from arguing about rates, & chasing money that's late more than half the time..

I hate it more than anything, but will keep me afloat till spring. Hopefully the rates will turn decent by then..?

I know what ya mean. I'll post some pics below of a few things on that camera that excited me.

BTW, Non resident elk and deer tag sale was today. My "outside looking in" thought that Idaho Game and Fish better represents the acronym IDGAF ended today.

Lucky me ended up with a Frank Church elk tag and unit 23 deer tag.

I have often thought about buying old sleepers and putting a door on them, wire up lights, heat, air. Rent em out cheap, but not by the hour.

Not saying that would be right, but it would definitely be easier.

I missed the 4300lb part, and was gonna ask if it had a 455. Just looked and saw what a G8 is. Not what I was expecting, but it's fast.


So I grabbed a camera I had way back in the mountains Thursday mornin, then got called for a marathon run to Colorado and back. Here's what was on the camera.

Yeah, he's not the biggest, but he's earnin his livin on nothin more than acorns and honeysuckle, not in a corn or alfalfa field.

He's so far out apparently that he doesn't get bothered any. Bucks like this are hardly ever seen in daylight besides the rut, and I had daylight pics from 9/15 till last week.

This buck makes me excited for next November.
