Might want to think about a wolf tag as well in that neighborhood

 

I'll do that. I was wondering about the chances of running into one there. Wolf tags are cheap even for NR, so I'll grab a couple.

The chances are probably as good in the Frank Church/Bob Marshall as anywhere, except for maybe Yellowstone, at least in the west. One tracked my son down a ridge when we were hunting there. He was 14, and it was his first year hunting. My son had no idea the wolf was there but another in our party watched from the next ridge over.

 

We flew into Stone Breaker Ranch to put some HDPE pipe in for the F&G and there was a bunch and they got too interested in what we were doing and …. Never mind
