The last time I was there was probably 2018. Was sitting at the bar. Had some cucks and swingers in there. Guess they ran all the decent crowd out.CAXPT, The_vett, jamespmack and 5 others Thank this. -

I’ve driven a few. The 1 piece windshield is an abomination to the classic Peterbilt, reminded me of driving a 84 Freightliner with that tapered hood. The dash cluster is just, odd. Jake brake control lever where the trailer brake should be. Cab is different, doors are different, but, it did have more leg room than the 379’s and 359’s of my past. The 379 headlights do help the exterior look though. The new one I drove from Denton, TX back to London, KY was built with coal specs, like to beat me to death but that’s just the way it was built. Those with air ride did very good, and the automatic transmission version…. gets a big negative from this hillbilly lol….. -

Yep lol, that dash style is timeless. Always easy to reach any of the switches.
Top pic: 77 with a 85-86 hood I was driving in 88.
Bottom pic: Dad standing by a Freightliner I looked at before buying my KW. Might have bought it, but I seen an easy $5K just in suspension repair, not counting brakes, air lines, u-joints, or tires….
