This load of equipment was sold to Mexico, it’s a flatbed load. Load of computerized machine shop equipment and parts….

 

Not a bad place to go ...Lots of Truck Traffic...Get in / Get Out n call it Done...

 

I've never had any problems there. It's been about 2 years since I was there. I took spotter trucks there that were going across the border. Got in unloaded and got out. Years ago I've hauled frozen berries out that came from Mexico. Not a place I'd want to hang out after dark.

 

What does your contract say? You should be cross docking down there.

I am sure I don't need to tell you to NOT go across the boarder or allow your equipment to go across the boarder.

Do not go down to Laredo and expect to park for the night. (Unless you can park in a fenced in, secure bond lot.)
Eagle Pass is not safe to park over night in either. The drug dealers came through there not to long ago and shot up the place. Get your fuel, your to go dinner and get out.

Call your broker find out what is required and supplied for delivery.

Give yourself enough hours to get to Austin or San Antonio after you unload.

Call Landstar for a reload out of there. They are a pain down there but will load your trailer to more northern areas. Johnson has big commercial AC units that always need a ride as well.

Not that this would apply to you, but do not attempt to take a weapon into Mexico. You will not like their housing.

If you are on your toes now, good stay that way until you are out of there. You do speak Spanish?

One more last thought. You or your broker should have a bond agent to get this into Mexico. You will probably cross dock it at their facility. Should take most of the day for that to happen.

This won’t be no broker load, it’s one of my direct customers. I’m going Monday morning to look everything over and discuss all the details, I definitely ain’t allowing my trailer to leave my sight lol….
