Pulled into London Truckstop to see fire trucks and cop cars. Said a dryer caught on fire.

Mannnnnn, if I knew I was gonna have a drug test today I would’ve studied last night.

 

Still feel like crud. Did get up and shower and dress, but have napped most of the day.

"Dad" showed and demanded (Not asked, demanded.) his run back. Told him it was already being run by someone else and that I didn't have anything else for him. He wanted to know when I was going to find something for him and his son. Told him that was never going to happen. He stood there for a bit then walked off and got in the car with his wife and they drove off.

A neighbor is bringing by corn bread and homemade creamed corn, bacon and jalapeño soup
This usually cures what ails ya.
Then I am going back to sleep.

Then load em a heavy 8' tarp out of Cape Canaveral to some sheet hole in the northeast for peanuts.

Pop & son won't ask you for anymore freight.. lol

Tax collectors working hard today in GA. Got me for a following too close. Car in the middle lane suddenly starts braking down to 45mph in a 70. Didn't rear end them but was running close for 30s as I went under the overpass smokey was sitting on. Dash Cam shows speed decreasing and gaining the gap back once we get down to 50mph.

Also decided that since he's never heard of the OS/OW 30min break exemption it's not real even though I had the paperwork from FMCSA for it.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse unless you work for the law I guess.
