Where is everyone #5

Not gonna get political, but what a change to see. It feels like more has been done in less than 7 days, than the last 4 years.

Shouldn't be long before the industry overall starts to see positive effects.

 

I hope you are correct. While we are retired, under contract O/Os a little more money to long term plan with right now would be darn handy.

 

Yep. Confidence inspires confidence. Hoping it happens quick. Would be great to see a change by summer.

Here's a new one that seems to represent my feelings of how the last few years went.

 

Well, I've been losing about a gallon of coolant both of the last two weeks.

I checked it Friday, and I'm getting compression in the cooling system from either the head gasket or an injector cup.

Not sure which, but no moisture in the dipstick tube, fill cap, or blow by tube yet.

I just changed the oil two weeks ago, and only have about 7k on it now. I had planned on running this week and tearing it down, but the weather is good for the next three days. Lots of rain starting Thursday

I feel like a lazy bass turd this morning, cause I should have torn into it Friday. My parts will be here today, unless it needs cups.

I'm assuming a head gasket, but we'll see. New everything 290k miles ago.

 

One of my customers who buys / sells used equipment has always went to the big auctions in Kissimmee every year buying equipment, then reselling making $$ with it. Lot of the equipment he used on his excavating jobs making $$ with it, then selling later making a good profit off of it.

I ask him the other day if Kissimmee was on the list for this year, he told me no, said it doesn’t make financial sense. He’s buying and selling here and making $$ unlike past years , and I’m making $$ delivering so it’s a win win. And this guy is not the big customer I haul for, the big guy may be in Kissimmee anyways, but he’s a global player so he’s always looking for something somewhere.

Hope things change for the better for everyone in some way as time ticks on….

Can't seem to get the O2 level to go up any. Now I have a crunchy place in my lung which makes breathing more difficult.

Oh, I forgot to share this church incident. "Dad" made the comment that I must be ashamed of how I was treating his family and couldn't show my face in church. Miss Mable, 92 years old 5 foot nothing, stood up and smacked him in the head with her Sunday purse and said "You idiot!" After the laughter died down the pastor stated that I was in the hospital.

You just never know what will happen in my church. Sigh.

 

Seems ICE is sweeping around Texas grabbing up those without documents.
