    If the customer asking for a rate reduction is more than 20% of your business maybe meet him in the middle. If not I think I'd stand my ground and stay busy doing everything else at normal rates. More likely than not some brokered third world truck will screw something up and you'll go right back to hauling at your normal rate or more anyway
