Stopped afterwards to pry my seat cushion free and make sure she was ok. Gotta say, I was not expecting her to genuinely thank me for not hitting her lol. This single frame in the video lasted long enough to play out at least 3 different full length life altering scenarios in my mind as the ABS modules chattered away.

Scary situation. It's sure nice not hearing those tires squealin there, I hate the ABS chatter, but it saved my ### (and my tires) once a few months back.

I've been on the opposite side there, 1991 or 1992 in a 69 GTO. Bad feeling for sure

 

Went out to dads this evening for my stepmom’s birthday party. Brought home a couple guns I had there, 1 a Savage 243 which was his birthday gift from me few years ago. And a Remington model 550-1 which was my uncle Lester’s who raised me.

Couldn’t find no info in the the .22 in any of my books, so had to go surfing on the interweb. Seems it a little less known….

What is the shield in front of the bolt? Brass deflector?

 

Model T racing is pretty baller, even though they only hit a whopping 20-something mph. I watched these races but I was over around turn 2 where there was less people.

 

I watched a program awhile back that basically showed how the plastic industry has hoodwinked us on plastic recycling to appear like they care.
