Found this 2007ish? Key West under 30' of water & buried in the sand while doing the debris sweep before setting the pile's for the new NAS (naval air station) concrete pier..

 

I hang in the granny lane majority of the day also. Normally pull a step, but I'm dragging a 53' dry box to see me through this winter. My truck is not spec'd for box work, so it's slower than normal right now..

There is nothing at all wrong with passing 4 wheelers, or other trucks. All I'm saying is if another truck or car decides to move over one lane to the left to allow you on the interstate, let them back over in front of ya. Don't box them out in the left lane, or pass em on the right if that makes sense.
Let em back over, then overtake on the left if you want to go faster..

 

Miss those milkman days.

Do not think I have ever seen Papa again since those days have been gone........

 

The rule here is keep right at all times unless overtaking, the same in UK although obviously keep left there. Centre and fast lane hoggers are not well thought of and trucks are banned from fast lane.
Not sure I'd be too keen on people passing me on both sides.

Keep right is supposed to be how it works in Muurica' also for the most part. But we are also allowed to use center & hammer lane unless there is signage restricting trucks..

We don't take kindly either to left & center lane hogs..

Another thing that PO's me is construction zones, & trucks not following signage. Many times it will read "Tucks use left lane" or vise versa. Pay attention..

As to being overtaken both sides same time, it happens..

Take this I55, I74 interchange for example.
Center lane is getting wider here in the pic, but to stay i74 east, occasionally one must grab the center bout a mile before the split depending how heavy the traffic that morning.

Think it's a 70mph zone.?
Box loaded to gross & hard side or head wind, I may have powered up to low 60mph range from where I entered the boulevard. Ain't no fun have a slow pass wiggle wagon creeping by on the drinker side, while a white volvo mafia fresh out of chi town blows by at 15 over the limit hug'n the zipper instead of the fog line..
