I'm not tired of replying at all. My post could have been ignored, but wasn't. I just hope I didn't leave anyone out, and if I did, it certainly wasn't intentional.

You’re right, forgot the onions or ramps and okra.

 

And tomatoes and Lima beans. Brunswick stew doesn’t have okra or potatoes. And it must be strictly smoked pork and smoked chicken. But I wouldn’t expect you to know that. I’m sure Blair knows.

Brunswick stew is like a lot of things. All regional recipes. So I guess it depends on where you have it and who makes it. What would Blair know about anything? Anyway he’s from New Zealand. They eat Kangaroo burgers.

 

If they are making it with potatoes and okra and beef, you my friend are eating vegetable soup.

Squirrel is good in vegetable soup. I’ve never had a coon or a possum.
