Took the scenic route to Laredo last weekend. Ran out to Wichita Falls then straight south. GPS said it was 70 miles longer but man was it nice not seeing another vehicle for over an hour at times. Then I spent an hour in line waiting to turn into the driveway at my delivery. Glad I didn't have to try to load out of there as well.

 

LOL, boy did you bring back memories. I was probably 8th grade at school and we did a talent show skit based on Johnny's single...I was "A Boy Named Sue".

Back in 1985 I suffered a ruptured right lung as a passenger in the rear seat of a Chevy Chevette. When I got to go home Dr. Hunt told me to walk as much as I could but don’t over do it, only walk out enough that you have the strength to get back.

Walked down the mountain along the blacktop road and went a little too far, walking back up took it out of me. I set down on the side of the road and shortly a neighbor came by. Jim, you’re white as Casper are you ok? They ended up giving me a ride back home.

But yes, waking is a good exercise with someone along especially in TX’s situation. Looking forward to him chugging along on all cylinders again….
