Sounds like the first time I tried baking a cake. That was a thoroughly demoralizing experience.

I think it just helps people drop their inhibitions. Sometimes that's a good thing and sometimes it's bad. If you get around the right group of people it can be a blast, throw in one bad apple and it ruins everybody's good time. Some groups of people drink and act like idiots, some like to cause trouble, some just like to have a good time with friends.

I'm normally pretty quiet, stay in the background for the most part. When I'd get a few beers in me it was a lot easier to join in. For a few hours everybody is pretty much the same and it was fun watching people who were normally reserved come out of they're shells as long as they were all about a good time too.

I guess if you weren't ever around something like that it's hard to explain. I don't miss it but I do have good memories of those times.

My Tuesday runs involve going past a large lake (Lake Klamath), twice. Front of the truck looks like a prop from a horror movie on account of all of the ex-insects. I washed the stupid thing today and it felt so futile considering it's going to look the same again in a few short days.

Cooking I can handle. Baking, not so much, unless it’s cookies. Those are hard to screw up. :)

It never sounded that good when my cousin sang it. I have the original cut on CD in the house.

We was pretty tight all our lives till last year. That all ended and most likely will never be fixed but I wish him well and thought you guys might relate to the song. That kid singing has a good voice....hope it works out for him.
