But then the argument becomes how much are you making per hour to deadhead to that next load. There are a couple of big "ifs" in here though. If you are booked on another load that can't/won't load early, and if this load gets you there without delay, then maybe it makes sense. My luck something goes wrong with the get-you-there load and I lose the good load.

Speaking of expanding foam insulation….
Some years ago a freind bought a S10 pickup, had some small holes of rust in the cab corner and the rocker. He was talking about doing a quick fix and flipping it but didn’t want to put a lot of work in it. I jokingly told him to spray some great stuff foam insulation in it before he goes to work, then trim it off and mud over it later that night.
Next time I see him he cussed me lol. Told me that when he came in he wasn’t sure if the truck looked more like a catfish or a tree roots washed out in a creek bank lol. Said the foam had expanded outward and down towards the ground, he said it look like it was trying to root itself to the ground right there lol…. -
