    What?

Look at the weight. This isn't even reels. It's solid pipe. The coiled pipe coming out of that plant is a lot less in weight.

And I load out of there in an hour (or close enough) quite often. About a dozen times in the last year, only one was it substantially longer than an hour. And yes it's a next day delivery. Which works perfect cause you aren't getting back to ok city for your next money load early enough to load the same day anyway.

Now to be clear I am not suggesting this is a good load. Or even a decent load. Im saying it's a decent back haul load IF conditions are right. If conditions are not right, then obviously I wouldn't take it. An example of what I mean by conditions being right: this past fall i was running very good paying loads out of oklahoma to 50 miles past Brownwood. These were very good paying load at over 2k to the truck on under 500 miles. While i was prepared to bounce back and often did, there were a few times one of these cheap pipe loads lined up to put an extra 600 bucks or so in my pocket without any risk of interfering with the good loads.

Some of those JD mowers are not made by JD.
The other manufacture builds cheap big box stuff...

Kawasaki builds a solid motor and are more expensive.
Koehler is cheaper at the big box stores.

This load isn't fuel money. No one was suggesting running for fuel money. If you are going from point and to point being sky way, it's almost all profit cause you already had the expenses. The only extra experiences is the autobahn fuel of running loaded vs empty. So about 2 mpg.

I’ve heard a lot of good about TYM. I don’t have a dealer nearby. I also looked at new holland and LS. Same tractor made by LS in South Korea. The fit and finish was a little sloppy I thought

The long and short of it is this load is cheap. You even admitted that. As a stand alone it breaks even at best. Rates will never move as long as guys are willing to haul for a break even rate.

But I want to ask. At what point do you let it sit? If it paid 500 would you still take it? If it put an extra 250 in your pocket would you take it? I mean you are headed that way and the other load has paid all expenses. This is all profit. A 100 dollars more profit is good right?

I was on my way home from Spokane yesterday coming down Lewiston grade and on the up lanes there's a pilot rig lights flashing, stopped. Uh oh. Around the corner's a lots n lots of axles with a GIANT scraper on.....wait....he's not stopped, baaaarely moving exhaust out the pipes like a jet engine. That's a long steep pull. I could have walked faster than he was moving.
