I wouldn't mind something for some longer distances. I often ride my old CB Honda over 400 kilometers in a single ride and I'm not overly fatigued or sore from those distances. It'd just be nice to be able to take some clothes and what not with me so I don't have to return to the house after every outing. I could actually head somewhere for a couple days. Plus a bigger tank to be able to ride more than 150 km without having to start searching for fuel would be great. If I'm hauling ### down the 4 lane, keeping pace with traffic I'm out of fuel before I hit 180 km.

Nearest dealer is Honda but Honda doesn't sell anything I like in the Canadian market anymore. If I drove 45 minutes I have access to the majority of brands on the market. Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Harley, Indian, Royal Enfield, Ducati, Triumph, BMW, Moto Guzzi, etc.

    Probably $7500.

You can find an older bike like mine and pull the trunk off and have a street glide with stereo and cruise for little less, just saying….

An hour away to a better selection is not bad. Here is something to consider. A new non-current model may offer you a better value. A brand that you may want to look into is Moto Guzzi. It is not a front of the mind brand. They have been making motorcycles for quite a long time. In north america, they are often overlooked. The V-7 and V-9 are quite good rides, sure only an 850cc, don’t let that fool you, they are very nice rides. Comfortable, quick, and reliable. They offer a couple of styles, sporty and touristy. You can dress them as desired. I have seen 23 and 24 model year units from $6000 to $7500 USD new and with full factory warranty.
