I think I talked to @Oxbow about it, but I ran some rock down 75, and over Galena Summit to Sun Valley.

IIRC, there was a hot spring along there somewhere. It was snowing and the road was empty. I'll stop next time

Have to say what a beautiful drive ! I was hoping to find a rich cougar in Ketchum to marry so I didn't have to drive trucks anymore then I can cruise on their private jets out of that airport , to wherever rich cougars like to go .

Well I'm still driving trucks so I guess we know how that one went

 

The hot spring is at Sunbeam, downstream from Stanley.

We were just awarded another project on the Yankee Fork, which meets the Salmon at Sunbeam. We'll be there early July if anyone is in the srea.

 

Will keep that in mind. I stayed the night at pulloff by the river there. Coulda hung around there a long time.

 

Never give up on your dreams. My buddy was a builder, married a woman in Hailey, lives next to the airport, travels the world where hoity toity women want to go (recently it was Machu Picchu). Hasn't swung a hammer in years, builds bird houses in the garage to keep busy.

 

when ya got a truck ya use it , comes with a bed ! Add topper its a 1guy 1 gal tent .

 

Actually, @RGN roads off the highway make ours look pretty tame. That's another area where they often don't have room for the white line on the side!

 

Edit. That was a lie, I passed the hot spring in Sunbeam, and hit the pulloff just past Stanley.

@Oxbow, will y'all be working right around the highway there in Sunbeam?
