Where is everyone #5

International use to make a big V8 gasser, thinking it was a 549. Made a big I-6 engine for trucks as well, think it was a 501 or 504 or something like that. Some folks liked to find them to make pulling engines for tractors. Having a main bearing between every rod they get spin them faster….

 

I’d say squirrelly a ss #1 behind the counter, when they left together (joined by a 3rd) squirrelly a ss #2 was much taller and had a ring of keys dangling off his side. Goobersnatchers as I use to call them on the CB….,

 

My 69 GMC steel tilt has a transplanted 549 V-8 gasser in it. 5 speed, with 3 speed rear ends. It won't set any speed records, but it'll get the job done.

 

Seems about right..

Blow-by. Got a Cat 950 loader cheap, ran OK, pulled it in the shop for a go over. Huh, lookie here...wonder why they cobbled a hose from the vent to the intake tube? Pull it off run it yaaaaash! Filled the shop full of smoke, like can't see full. Well, it's sacked run it till we find another 3116 since they are disposable engines. Run it? Haha, thing was burning 4 GALLONS of oil an HOUR!

 

Anybody used this stuff on fiberglass?

I'm assuming sand to bare fiberglass and glue?

When that Idaho wind hit me the other day and broke my hood latch, it also broke my right side hood "support?" off of the inside of the hood, and my left side "support" is also now broken.

Body work is not my in my wheelhouse

 

Not trying to jump in front of anyone else with knowledge of body work, I sure ain’t a body man…. Would you like me to ask my son in law that painted the Jeep for me? That’s his specialty….
