If memory serves me, ignition timing is a bear on the Tecumseh, and can have you cranking your a ss off and using 4 letter words….

 

They were worse than a Briggs back then. Used to call them Briggs & Scrap Iron lol.

Rarely had any issues with the little gas Honda engines though. If they had gas in the tank they were usually running within 2 or 3 pulls.
