Woke up to 12 missed calls from the wife. Seems the dogs treed last night in the back yard.

 

Go scratch him behind the ears

 

Wife is finally awake and I got the full story.

I was laughing my ### off.

She said she she had heard some noises around 12:30 this morning.

Around 1:15 all hell breaks loose with the dogs. She assumes they've treed a coon or possum, so out she goes to kennel the dogs.

Dogs won't leave the tree so she goes to get the light. Comes back to the tree and turned on the light, and said "Holy ####".

She got two dogs in the house, but Brutus wouldn't leave the tree.

I guess one of the neighbors called the law, so before long she has the entirity of the PD and Sheriffs dept at the house.

Eventually she got Brutus off the tree and in the house. Cops all left around 3, and she said she heard the gate swing around 4 am. Bear was gone, dogs are back outside, and the wife is tired
