went to Google the scale house to see how far away it was , bout pissed myself laughing when I seen that

 

I used to load in Butler Mo and run to Flaggstaff. Then reload in same place and go to Joslin Illinois. Sometimes I’d bounce 8 hours up to Utah and load mineral outta the ground then unload that Philadelphia Mississippi. I’ve loaded in Russellville Arkansas on Monday going Victorville Ca then run up North of Bakersfield and reload back to Bern’s Kansas. Then reload seed corn along 80 in Nebraska for central Illinois. Catch a nap kick that off and reload feed corn in Illinois middle of afternoon and be south of Mt. Pleasant Texas bout daylight next morning.


I’ve loaded so far out in the boonies of New Mexico that it took a hoot owl paying off the coyotes to get me outta there with potash coming back to Bama. And they was that time we got heavy in the Carolinas coming back to Arkansas and they caught me going round the Fulton scales hauled me back and I hit the scales 27k over gross.(for those unaware the great state of Mississippi collects their fat tax in the spot). I had good contacts back then I could get outta the house via southern cotton in Memphis with a phone call and could get back to Memphis to MSM from anywhere with just a phone call. Me and Doc was young and spry and could still do that get around deal

 

Finally had the parts to put the Acert C13 back together in a RD Mack. Joyful.

And back working on the Wood Fired Pizza truck. Busy day not Trucking.
