That what I was going to do pull injectors and pressure test cooling system, seen a couple videos where u could see coolant leaking from cups that way so figured I would try. No coolant in pan at all , no excess pressure at all, no sign of combustion gas on a block test kit. Only found it when I pulled exhaust manifold and 3 exhaust ports were wet with coolant

bad cups are only gonna mix coolant and fuel. The injector doesn’t seat in the cup the cup only surrounds it. The only way a leaking cup will put coolant in a hole is for the injector of that hole not to be seated in the headpushbroom, singlescrewshaker, blairandgretchen and 15 others Thank this.

@D.Tibbitt gotta say I respect your resilience. You had to take a step back for a bit but you haven't thrown in the towel.

Well I guess that pretty much rules it out then. No coolant and full mix. What other symptoms would a injector not seated cause? I remember my oil filter would become plugged after say 10k miles . Not sure if coolant related or if it was excess sootsinglescrewshaker, 1951 ford, CAXPT and 10 others Thank this.

That sounds like excess soot.
Does the oil around the top look really black almost gritty?
If compression was blowing past an injector seal it would cut the o rings pretty quickly and mix fuel and oil.
If it blowed a little smoke on the first take off after extended idle time and you caught a hint of burnt oil smell you could never quite find it’s usually valve guidessinglescrewshaker, 1951 ford, CAXPT and 15 others Thank this. -
Mine was putting coolant into exhaust..noticed a sweet smelling smoke at startup. Coolant tank was still under pressure from the day before.
Is what I found..singlescrewshaker, 1951 ford, CAXPT and 15 others Thank this.
